Lake Worth defeated Madison this week to clinch the 11-3A District Championship and a playoff birth. The defense set the tone early by forcing a 2 point safety as the Bullfrogs never trailed in the game. Each time the Trojans threatened the defense came up with a big play and the offense made sure any success Madison did have was too little too late. Next week Lake Worth takes on Ranchview with a chance to go undefeated in district play heading into the playoffs. Madison has also made the playoffs while Castleberry and Carter-Riverside will play this week with the winner getting the last playoff spot.

Lake Worth had no trouble handling Diamond Hill-Jarvis last night and will now start preparing for their showdown against Madison. The winner of this game will clinch the District Championship and a playoff birth. Let's all get out to the game this week and make some noise for the B u l l f r o g s !

Lake Worth enters this weeks game against Diamond Hill-Jarvis tied for first in District 11-3A with Madison at 3-0. If the Bullfrogs are looking ahead to next weeks matchup they may find themselves in a fight with a Diamond Hill team that finally recorded their first district win of the last four seasons with a victory over Roosevelt two weeks ago.

The Bullfrogs used a high powered offense to cruise past Carter-Riverside and open district play with a win. Lake Worth piled up 615 yards on the night with 333 of those coming on the ground from Joel Rockmore. Quarterback Donovan Vess threw for 180 yards with one touchdown and a couple of two point conversions. Vess also managed to kick a field goal and 4 PAT's. This week the Bullfrogs take on an 0-5 Roosevelt team which has only scored 19 points so far this season.

The Bullfrogs begin district play tonight at home against Carter-Riverside. Both teams come into the game with 1-3 records. Lake Worth has not lost to Riverside since entering District 11-3A.
